P Lanny Andriani

P. Lanny Andriani, born in Purworejo, Central Java in 1949, is an Indonesian painter who has been active in the art world since her youth. She studied at ASRI Yogyakarta in 1968 under the guidance of Widayat and later became involved in various art communities, including IWPI and the “Indonesia Lima” group. Her works have been exhibited extensively in Indonesia and internationally, including in Perth, Vancouver, the Netherlands, Brunei Darussalam, and Rome.

Since 2009, she has also been active as an exhibition organizer through Sense of Arts, held regularly in major Jakarta venues such as Senayan City, Central Park, Grand Indonesia, and Plaza Indonesia. Beyond her artistic practice, she has contributed significantly behind the scenes as an organizer for major events including the Indofood Art Award and UOB Painting of the Year.

She has also been active with the Indonesian Fine Arts Foundation since the early 1990s and has taught painting since 1998. Her works are held in important collections such as the Bogor Presidential Palace, Hotel Kempinski Jakarta, Museum Purna Bhakti Pertiwi, and by prominent private collectors.
