Roedyat Martadiredja

1932 – 2002

Born in Bandung in 1932, Roedyat Martadiredja began painting in 1948 and studied at Institut Teknologi Bandung. He held a solo exhibition in Jakarta in 1978 and participated in the East-West Center’s Art of Bali exhibition in Honolulu, Hawaii, in 1988.

His works are unique, rich, and colorful, creating a strong rhythm. They are part of private collections in Europe and the United States.
